Award-winning Philadelphia native Christine Havrilla brings her “well-built, catchy, smart tunes” (Upstage Magazine) to audiences everywhere, touring solo and also with the support of her band, Gypsy Fuzz. Colleen Clark is a musician and audio engineer in Salisbury, MD. Originally from Rehoboth Beach, DE, Colleen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Music Theory from the University of Notre Dame (South Bend, IN) and a Master of Arts in Audio Science from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD).

Warren & Flick crafts a sound both invitingly full and authentically transparent; captivating listeners through original material that balances familiarity with an exploratory spirit. Jacob Warren plays double bass, and Grant Flick plays violin, tenor guitar, and nyckelharpa. Their latest album shows an evolution in both their individual playing and ensemble with a great variety of stylistic foundations and a gentle curiosity for moving between and away from conventional idioms.

Aaron James Wright CD Release Show at The Clover Room
Singer-Songwriter Aaron James Wright is currently crisscrossing the Midwest countryside in support of his newly released, self titled solo album. Recorded at Broadside Productions by studio wizard/gnome Mike Roche, the album was produced in part by a generous grant from the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo. The album features spare, earnest, rootsy tunes and contributions from Mike Fuerst (Knee Deep Shag, Cornfed Girls, Red Sea Pedestrians), Darcy Wilkin (Cornfed Girls), Al Bates (Sweet Corn) and Mike Roche himself!

He’s known primarily as a clever & insightful songwriter with an instrumental prowess in roots-based traditions. But this album is a marked departure.

Ellis & M.E. is Alma Muxlow, Catherine Ellis, and Bob Elkins. The trio’s creative groove comes from tight vocal and instrumental harmonies, innovative songwriting and covers that speak to our lives and times. Catherine Ellis is well known as a creative singer-songwriter and versatile master of folk, swing, bluegrass, and blues. Her previous recording credits include Counterpoint (Looking to a Future), solo (Time Again), and Carmea (Raining in Yosemite). Catherine is a powerful lead and harmony singer and plays a mean rhythm guitar.

The Rebel Eves at The Clover Room
The Rebel Eves started with a "stars- aligning" type of friendship and musical collaboration. With beginnings in early 2022, the group formed from the love of creativity and the belief that the joy of connection can break down barriers that women have historically been put into in the music industry, our society, and in our individual religious spaces.

Compton & Newberry at The Clover Room
Mike Compton and Joe Newberry, masters of old-time mandolin and banjo/guitar, dig deep into early country music and blues. Their duet-singing, two-man string band ranges between traditional songs, instrumentals, ‘mother’ ballads and original tunes. It’s not about the number of notes with Compton and Newberry, but telling the truth and respecting the song.

Sisters Natalie (cello) and Brittany (fiddle) Haas began their musical lives together, filling their childhood home with Bach suites and old-time tunes alike. It was on their own, however-following divergent paths through disparate musical traditions, countries, and cultures-that they both arrived as virtuosi and composers at the highest levels of contemporary string music.
Named one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch,” Nic Gareiss (he/they) has been hailed by the New York Times for his “dexterous melding of Irish and Appalachian dance” and called “the most inventive and expressive step dancer on the scene” by the Boston Herald.

Jormilit Garcia is a vocalist currently enrolled in the award-winning Jazz Studies program at the Irving S. Gilmore School of Music at WMU. Joe Miller was a part of a group featured in the Downbeat Student Music Awards and was selected to be a Ravinia Steans Music Institute Fellow, where he was under the guidance of Steve Wilson, Billy Childs, and Rufus Reid.
