Sounds of the Zoo presents the Emerging Artists Showcase Series FEATURING:

Payton&Annabelle are a Michigan-based acoustic duo, with a focus on harmony dense songs, with authentic and confessional lyrics. The duo's debut single, projection, won the New Moon Songwriting Competition, and received praises from across the state. Their debut album “for the willows” is currently available everywhere. *They typically are found as an acoustic duo featuring guitar and two voices, but are excited to bring a fuller sound to the clover room, with Will Murphy on drums, and Will Gavan on bass.

Silian is a six piece band based in Paw Paw, Michigan. Their blend of jazz, folk, metal, blues, and psychedelia gives each individual song a unique and eccentric sound. They’re basically like the grateful dead if they were a bunch of midwestern teenagers.

WSG Helena Schoenherr who is in two choirs, learning to play guitar, and enjoys writing lyrics and coming up with harmonies. She loves all kinds of music!

Sounds of the Zoo is a groundbreaking free multicultural music festival and symposium that has taken Kalamazoo by storm in 2022. Established with the vision to empower artists, unite industry professionals, and bring together music lovers worldwide, this event is not just a showcase of local, regional and national acts, but a catalyst for community unity through the powerful medium of music!
