Join us at Jerico for the first kick-off Washington Avenue Art Crawl (WAAC) on Saturday, April 8th from 2-6pm!
We will be hosting Shaquona Espinoza for an art exhibit and live painting in the South Building. Joining us will be Netherworld Books selling a variety of small press, international fantastic fiction, surrealism & esoterica with themes of climate change and environmentalism in honor of Earth Day. Live music by Headband Henny and the Kalamazoo Youth Workshop Band in The Clover Room. The Washington Ave Art Crawl is a new arts & culture event in the Edison Neighborhood! Artists, musicians, poets, dancers, and more will be showcasing their talents in venues across the neighborhood.
Participating venues will be connected via a pedestrian-friendly pathway between Portage & Lake Streets in Washington Square, along Washington Ave, and Studios located on Fulford Street in the Factory District.
