Intro to Framing Walls (Women & LGBTQIA+) at The dapper Hammer

Thinking of building a wall in your basement? Curious how walls are built? Or just want an excuse to play with a nail gun? Come join us!

This class is a safe, supportive environment for you to be fully you as you explore new tools, learn new skills, and inspire yourself and others with your imagination.

We will chat about shop safety, learn the basics behind wall framing construction, try our hand at a few tools, and work in groups to frame out a couple small walls. These walls will then be used for the Drywall Basics class later in the day. Register for the Drywall class (same day, 12:30-3pm) and stick around to see your walls come to life as they are covered in drywall!

IS THIS CLASS FOR ME?

This class is designed for absolute beginners with little to no tool knowledge as well as for those who have some experience and want to learn more.
